Tayrona Parque National

Pristine Tayrona where the jungles of the Sierra tumble down to a chain of white, sandy coves.  It takes a few hours hiking through the jungle before you hit the beach but definitely worth it!

No Denise, that 5 star eco resort, Cape Canaveral, is not our destination! Keep hiking !

Cabo San Juan

The beach hut - luxury!

cacti meets white sand at the edge of the rainforest

the beach cabin at Cabo San Juan

life's a beach!

Local Kogi indians selling their wares

rainbow beads and bric a brac

woven bags and more woven bags for sale under the Terminalia tree

too tired to lug that pack- horses for hire

dive boat for hire

another perfect day in paradise

trees dripping with peach- size mango , Denise's lucky number ...yum!
local fisherman out to catch the fish for our dinner

crystal clear water and perfect beaches

posh hammocks with a view

Smelling like a monkey, insect bitten to the knees, wondering if the jungle hike will fulfil all expectations... it did.

tree roots and sand bags keep the track navigable after the torrential downpours

bleached granite boulders at La Piscina - the swimming pool beach

Anna, Denise and Paul relieved to be back from the jungle, relaxing with a vodka and enjoying  comparative luxury at Casa De Felipe
