Aguas Calientas – gateway to Macchu Picchu

Similar to Charlie and The Great Glass Elevator is the great glass roofed train to Aguas Calientas at the base of Macchu Picchu. The valley follows the river and the Andean mountains are so steep the that only way to see them is through the roof – a definite must if you are interested in great train rides of the world. A quick dip in the thermal pools and then an early night ready for my birthday… and of  course magnificent Macchu Picchu.
