Living with "La Familia Loca"

What a family- they are crazy!
Monica and Juan Luis live in a house up on the hills of Valparaiso in central Chile an hour from Santiago on the coast. Their children are Paolina, 24 studying nursing, Diego 18 ready to go into the army for a compulsory year and Sebastian, 9 a mischievous kid who thinks I understand everything he says (probably because I say "si" to everything he says!)

Valparaiso is a Unesco World Heritage Site ..to quote lonely Planet -my bible for the next three months ..."Valpo is a well-worn frenetic port with houses stacked to gaping heights along the sea"
